Hey, I'll get through this pretty fast.

DRAWING WITH TYLER:
All of the episodes are now fully filmed. I'm in post now and I have 3 episodes completely edited. I've got two more to go. But, all of that aside, the first new episode will be up on Wednesday the 16th. Just like last time, they will come out every Wednesday.

THINK TANK:
Episode 9 should be out tonight. I'll update this when it is. Episode 10 will be recorded soon.

DARK SHADOWS REVIEW:
I went to go see the film "Dark Shadows" tonight with some friends. I wrote a review and you can see it HERE.

That's all for now.

Hey hey, thought I might update this website thing again. So let's see what do I have first up?

THINK TANK:
So first up, the 8th episode of my podcast Think Tank is up, this time our very own Kevin Faust is our guest.
Think Tank Episode 9 is done and will be posted up on Thursday the 10th.

"...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL":
My feature film once again is on hiatus, we were planning on going into production this summer for the longest time, but once again, I simply cannot handle it and I in no way want to make my first feature a half assed production. This is in a way my first real impression when it comes to the world of cinema, so I don't want to f it up.
I might get more into this later. But I probably won't so don't count on it.

DRAWING WITH TYLER- SEASON 2:
The next 5 episodes have been almost completely shot, I still have all of the intros and one little added bit to film, but I'm done with the drawing segments.
In my opinion it's not as good as the previous season, but I did new things. I'm usually not the best judge of myself anyway.

And finally, what I've been dying to announce...

MARRIAGE:
A new short film that has been in pre-production since last October/November. I'll be shooting that once school gets out and then I can finally get something cool out.
I can't say much of what it's about, because I don't want to spoil anything, and if I don't spoil something, it sounds lame. But this will be a very interesting film to say the least.
What I can say is, it's a dark comedy, it stars Alex Payne and Kevin Faust, it will also feature a new face. In closing, I can also show you one thing. I present to you, the poster...

The animation I've been talking about for like a year now is finally out.

Also, a newish episode of Think Tank is out. Check it out.

First of all, the 5th episode of "Drawing with Tyler" is out. Check it out. Moving on...

I never really rant about outside things on this blog, but I've decided this is something worth ranting about for me. News has just been released that Platinum Dunes (Michael Bay's production company) has acquired the rights to the "Halloween" franchise. For reference, these people also did the reboots of "Friday the 13th", "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and "A Nightmare on Elm Street". I'm a big fan of 80's and early '70's slasher films. They are really fun to watch because they are so silly and simple. But, "Halloween" (1975) is my favorite of all of them because it's a genuinely good movie. You may say, "Oh, but Tyler, it's cheesy and has a bunch of worn out cliche's." Well, by cheesy, you mean old and believe it or not it was one of the first to use the techniques that are now considered cliche'. I can go on for hours on how it's a good movie, but the point is, it's freakin' awesome. Now, you may wonder, why am I complaining about a remake now when Rob Zombie did one in 2007? Because my simple friends, I also love that film. There are things to nit pick, but over all Rob Zombie (one of my favorite directors, by the way) did an awesome job. Again, I could go on for hours on how great it is, but the point is, it's freakin' awesome.
Platinum Dunes, is infamous for bad remakes. My opinion is, I liked the "Nightmare" remake better than the original and the "Friday the 13th" was okay (haven't seen it in a while) and I haven't seen the "Texas Chainsaw" remake because I've heard it is actually horrible. But, all these films have something in common, they aren't actually good films and frankly neither are the originals honestly (except for Texas Chainsaw, I haven't seen it). "Halloween" and it's 2007 remake are both actually good. I expect nothing less from Dunes then for them to completely bastardize this film. I would also like to mention it's only been 5 years since the last time this franchise was rebooted and 3 years since it's sequel came out. At least take some time before you jump right in. So, I don't know about this. It could be great, it could be the worst Halloween film since "Resurrection" and that's hard to beat. I guess I have to wait for a trailer, then I'll make a final decision. But as of right now, I'm kind of miffed about this.

DRAWING WITH TYLER:The fourth episode of "Drawing with Tyler" is now out. I draw my director friend, James Klim. Check that out.
The fifth and final episode of this season should be premiering next Wednesday. I won't reveal who it is, but it's going to be a very love it or hate it scenario.

THINK TANK:
This weekend we should be recording a new episode of Think Tank. James is still working on Episode 6, it should be out soon, I hope.

BUG EXTERMINATORS:
Are you ready for this!? Progress is about to be made! I have someone coming in to do the final voice. After that it should be out pretty quick :D I'm very excited to get this thing done and get it out. More updates on that later.

MORE MISSING VIDEOS:
So as you may remember a while ago a lot of videos went down, apparently I missed a couple that needed to go down. The thing about these though is the problem CAN be fixed. So let's go down a list of things you can't see right now and see what we can do about this...
  • "Monsters in the Closet": I have it fixed already, I'm just waiting to upload it again, but this time in HD.
  • "Pistol Duel": This is actually for a different reason than the others, we have a problem with the music in the video. I didn't realize it before, but it wasn't viewable in most countries. So I'm probably going to take it off YouTube and make it a website exclusive, sorry about that.
  • "War Machine": It could be very easy, but I kind of want to redo the whole thing. So this may or may not happen. I think it would be an interesting comparison.
  • "Sun Super Nova": Okay so here's the thing, I will be doing NOTHING to fix this one. There's no point. It's not an actual good video and  it was never completed.

So yeah, that's about it for now. I'm going to be pretty busy.

Hello Children, 03/22/2012

I suppose it's time I stop occasionally popping my head in saying stuff, and just jump right in and tell you fine folks how things are going. So here are some important topics I need to cover...

NEW WEBSITE:
My new website is still slowly chugging a long and still very much so far away from happening. I'm chipping away at it slowly until that time comes and then by the time I finally finish it will be out and it shall be GLORIOUS!

THINK TANK:
The valiant Sir James Klim and I are attempting to make the podcast bi-weekly now. We recently recorded an episode earlier this week and as soon as James finishes editing it, it should be up. In fact, as long as I'm operating on this website, the podcast may be a better source of fuller information as to what is going on for my video stuff.

RAIN (SERIES 2):
Speaking of James Klim, the second season of Rain is coming along great. My character The Professor is a much bigger part this time around and I also voice a new small character. I have had a bit of a hand in the writing process and all of my lines are in. Now it's up to James to work his post production wizardry and get things done. I have no idea when it will be out, but what ever, you can also hear way more about that on Think Tank.

BUG EXTERMINATORS:
As I have said many of times, I haven't made much progress since the end of last year. I finished the art, finished my lines, and I'm slowly doing post work on the audio but I still need one more voice for it. I think I have someone and I also have a back up or two. But, you should be seeing that sometime soon.

AJFA PROMO:
Still no exact shooting day in the foreseeable future, need to get things sorted out, I'm really behind on this. I do however, have news that Jamie Zin (TheLandMooCow) will be doing color correction for it and James Klim will be doing visual effects.

I've got a couple other small things on the way and of course the last two episodes of "Drawing with Tyler" for this season. Other than that, I've got nothing else to
